Michelle Conforti, D.D.S.
Dr. Michelle Conforti received her doctorate of dental surgery from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She has since received hundreds of post graduate continuing education course credits in multi-disciplinary dental treatments. Her credentials include Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction, and General Family Dentistry (from root canals to braces).
As a quality minded dentist, Dr. Conforti directs and works closely with her technician who provides assistance and years of experience fabricating the materials used in your dental treatment.

Suzanne Fisher, D.D.S.
Dr. Suzanne Fisher received her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and then completed a residency at Albert Einstein Jacobi Medical Center in New York. She practiced in Massachusetts for several years and also taught part-time at Harvard School of Dental Medicine for a couple years, before deciding to return home to Michigan. Dr. Fisher has focused her post-graduate continuing education on cosmetics, TMJ dysfunction, and full mouth reconstruction. She feels that quality and patient comfort are the most important aspect in dentistry, and uses her fine eye for detail and calm demeanor to achieve those goals.

Shane Thomas, D.D.S.
Dr. Shane Thomas is local who graduated from Brother Rice High School in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Physics from Wayne State University in 2012. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2016.
Dr. Thomas is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of Spear education, to keep himself up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Thomas’ favorite aspect of dentistry is that he’s able to create trustworthy, authentic relationships with his patients, providing them with the best quality service concerning their oral health. He values patient education regarding his treatment recommendations so that the patient is fully informed before making any decision. He also works to ensure that the patient’s goals are best achieved. He prides himself on relating with his patients and meeting them wherever they are, especially about their previous dental experiences. Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, Tanya, and creating memories with his 3-year-old daughter, Lana and 6-month-old, Mira. He loves staying active, playing basketball, flag football, and working out. He is actively involved with his church community, mentoring younger men, and looks forward to continuing serving there alongside his wife.
Stephanie ~ Administrator
Stephanie joined our practice in May of 2014. Prior to joining our team she worked in the orthodontic field for six years as a front desk coordinator, and orthodontic assistant. When asked about why she loves working in the dentistry field, Stephanie replied “Because, in the words on Annie ‘You’re never fully dressed without a smile’, and I love to be a part of creating beautiful smiles!” Stephanie lives in Highland with her children, Ashton and Inez. She enjoys spending her free time baking, and playing with her children.
Jenniffer ~ RDH
Jenniffer started in the dental field as a dental assistant prior to graduating from the Oakland Community College’s Hygiene program in 2004. Jenniffer joined the Gateway Dental Care team in December of 2014. When asked what she enjoys most about being a hygienist, Jenniffer replied “I enjoy the interaction with the patients. It gives me great joy seeing the improvements made by better oral hygiene”. She currently lives in Waterford with her two children.

Jodi graduated from the University of Michigan’s dental hygiene program in 2020. She joined the Gateway Dental Care team in June of 2020. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is connecting with patients, she loves working with kid and helping them with their oral hygiene. Jodi currently lives in South Lyon with her son.

Jeri joined our practice in February of 2015. She has been practicing as a dental assistant for over thirteen years. Jeri loves all aspects of dentistry, but she truly enjoys working on cosmetic and orthodontic cases. When she is not at work, Jeri enjoys spending time with her three children.

Kelly started out with Gateway Dental Care in 2006. In 1997 she became a certified dental assistant. Kelly then pursued dental hygiene and graduated from Ferris State University in 2002. In her career she enjoys learning new technology, ideas and techniques. Kelly resides in South Lyon with her husband and two sons.
